Important Information for Pune Property Owners: Annual Property Tax Payment & Discount Deadline

Dear Readers,

Would like to share important general information regarding the annual Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) property tax applicable to all properties falling under Pune's jurisdiction.

📅 Annual Property Tax Bill – Issuance & Delivery

The property tax bill is generated annually in March and is typically delivered as a hard copy to the registered property address. However, please be aware that delivery via postal services may occasionally be delayed, misplaced, or not delivered at all. Therefore, physical delivery should not be solely relied upon.

🔔 Discount Deadline: 30th June 2025

To encourage timely payment, PMC is currently offering a discount of up to 10% on the annual property tax bill.
To avail this discount, payment must be made on or before 30th June 2025.

Please note:

  • Payments made after 30th June 2025 will not be eligible for the discount.

  • Late payments may incur a monthly penalty or interest as per municipal rules.

🔎 How to Track Your Property Tax Bill

To access your latest bill, you will need your Property/Consumer Number, which typically follows a format like: O/1/20/0123456 (example only; use your actual number).

You can view and download your bill by visiting the official PMC Property Tax Portal:

💳 How to Make Payment

Paying your property tax is quick and convenient:

  • Use the PMC website to make online payments through various secure payment gateways.

  • There is no need to visit municipal offices in person for payment.

    Date for payment of annual pmc tax will may be extend to 15th july. As 40% deduction form submission by pmc pareson delayed and also pmc site is not working since last 3 days.
