Pune, 19th April 2023: In a major relief for property owners in Pune, the Maharashtra cabinet has approved a 40 percent discount in property tax for those who use their property for their own residence. The news of 40 percent rebate in property tax being reinstated has brought cheer among the self used property holders in Pune city. Also the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has recently made the process of getting a 40% discount in property tax easier for citizens. This move comes after the Maharashtra state government decided to reinstate the discount that was withdrawn in 2019, which had caused public outcry.
