current covid 19 (corona virus) crisis originated from china shook the world economies as continued lock-downs to avoid spread of infection has made everything stand still and given lot of time to rethink what and how we have to plan for future and surely the current unexpected situation is to be blamed to china whether it may happens unintentionally but at the same time it may bring good to many countries lives in the shadow of this powerful dragon.

As china is undoubtedly a leader in manufacturing and exporting to entire world, the current crisis also affected supply chains of many product badly and many factories has to force close due to unable to get parts from china. due to many reasons, it seems that many big companies wish to diversify their supply chains out of china soon and here opportunity comes to INDIA. 

i was also just googling the information of how much India imports every year from china and which are the list of major products imported in last decade? you would be surprised to know staggering figure of amount of foreign currency which is in billion of dollars, we have to shell out to import these basic products which can be easily manufactured in India, yes the current advantage is the cost which china has but it's achievable in India if production can be scaled in masses and with government support in terms of infrastructure and tax incentives will be a game changer.

India, having huge consumer market has an edge compare to other countries like Vietnam, Philippines & Indonesia to attract these companies to establish their plants as they do't have consumers to consume these products and again it will be exported to other countries including India and has to go through with import duties and taxes and other regulations of each importing countries.

India's domestic consumption is so massive that every company would like to setup their manufacturing plants which are currently in china to cater such huge Indian end-users base already established to consume each and every product produced by these companies. this is really a great advantage which nobody will deny.

it's also bringing great opportunities for domestic companies, startups & entrepreneurs to be a part of this new growth story waiting and job creation will add more prosperity. our domestic companies can tie up with these companies to help them setup, joint venture to ease the process or even can start new manufacturing plants their own.

i tried to summarize list of products which currently imported (past decade) from china to India and the source is simply online so it may add or remove few of products however it will surely help to understand that which products can easily manufactured in India but still imported from china, here is the list:

3. Organic fertilizers:
